Betty says, I needed a small light weight compact hair curler to take with me on short trips and camping when I was just carrying to much in my Coach bag. I was not necessarily searching a cordless one, but when I came upon this one, I believed I'd give it a try. It is fantastic. I think every girl should have one in go to bag for the weekend.

I have straight, difficult to curl hair and this curling iron warmed up as rapidly as in any other I used in the past. It is just as good a job as my electric one does and just as quickly. I've only used it a few of times and it doesn't seem to use the butane cartridge very much, but I have short hair and only curl about 6 area I need to work on forehead of my head. If you have long hair and spent many long hours in front of the mirror with the iron on, you might use up the cartridges quickly.

This is a great answer for an overseas vacation wherever you didn't want to fool around with electrical converters. You are allowed to take the unit with one cartridge only on an airplane. I would think the one cartridge should last you at least a week or two, but you might want to make sure before you took this road. You will want to practice being sensible with your time.

The iron and cartridge are in a cute compact carrying case only weighs about 8 oz. It could easily fit inside your Coach purse that is what I do.

With this curling Iron it works great for touch ups. Also I bought the the hair Straightener and it never really was hot enough to curl my hair.
